Cowboy Sword is Benny Sierra's third outing for Noir's Ink/Da'MaRoJo Studios, the previous two books being from the Crime Noir series. This time around, SIerra experiments with a second title under his Noir's Ink Studio banner.
This story combines elements of spaghetti westerns and samurai movies. The story starts off with a stranger arriving at a town an entering a saloon asking for a character named Ichigo Katsumoto. Now, I will not spoil the story of the comic, but things escalate from there, with ends with a caption stating that next issue might be an origin story.
In terms or art and story, this is Sierra's best efforts yet. The story flows nicely and the art, especially in the fight scenes, are his best yet. The fight scenes are stylized and come off kind of cinematic.
If I were to nitpick, there are very few grammatical errors in the dialogue, but it's far better than most PR comics (or indie comics in general), and it didn't distract too much from the story.
Final verdict, I give this comic 4/5 sake bottles. It's a fun comic so far and you can tell a lot of passion went into the making of it. If you want to find out more about it, visit the Noir's Ink Studios website:

That's all for today, thank you for reading and see you all next time!
